Witch Is Why The Music Stopped (A Witch P.I. Mystery #19) By Adele Abbott

Another delightful read

I've been reading this series since it started and I honestly can't believe we are on book 19! The author does an excellent job with all of the mysteries and they are never boring or repeated. I love the cheeky British humor and slang, it's delightful. Family, Neighbors, Friends, Freaks

Jill struggles to get supplies to trade for a book she needs, solve three missing persons cases and not kill her one-eyed cat. Drama at every turn. More fun with Jill

I really enjoyed reading this book and the many mysteries it contained, big and small. Sometimes Jill seems to bumble along, but she’s really quite clever and always manages to figure things out in the end. In this book, ghosts get a bigger role and we get to meet some pixies, but the real fun of the book is that in spite of Jill’s hard work, Grandma gets the last word. Kindle Edition Fantastic

I really enjoyed Which Is Why The Music Stopped. There was plenty of action, mystery and witchiness. After 19 books Adele Abbott is still writing strong and I'm loving it! Adele Abbott I really love this series. Jill cracks me up with her interactions with her cousins, Aunty Lucy, her animals in both worlds makes me laugh. I like how she tries to help sups in the human world while trying to hide her abilities. Adele Abbott

Meh, this is getting worse and worse, there is no sense in it, scene after scene with no sense (that´s a weird sentence ha :D ). The crime part, can we even call that a crime part anymore? So boring. The only thing I enjoyed was the fantasy part, the issue with the pixies, that was it. I used to like this serie as it was so easy to read, so relaxing, but the last couple of books just are not doing it anymore for me. It´s the same over and over, it gets very boring. Just to think there is 38 books in this serie according to the author´s webpage, like what? She needs to come with something interesting soon, or I will give up on it. Adele Abbott Very Clever

So Winky's preference for red, not pink, salmon made me look up the difference. I am confused. Let's leave it at that.

Mrs. V comes up with a pretty brilliant idea regarding her job share with Jules. I love it. We'll see how it goes.

Is there no end to Grandma's innovations? Seriously!

Missing beings this time, as well as the odd murder. Again, very clever is our Jill. I wonder why people don't think she's doing well?

A very special party is coming up.

This is seriously a laugh a page. Jill's magical powers are getting her into some special places. Kindle Edition Great Series

A very entertaining urban fantasy/cozy mystery series. Jill good or a private investigator in the human world one-day finds out she is actually a witch. Her adoptive father who was API and left her the business and her adoptive sister and her family in the human world. She learns she also has an aunt some cousins and a grandmother in the supernatural world. When she meets her mother Who used to be a witch until she died and is now a ghost who can visit Jill. Follow along as she straddles both worlds and solves mysteries murder and adventures in both. A very entertaining series with a very cheeky lead character and group of friends. Check it out This was a definite improvement over previous installments. There was actual plot and the secondary characters weren't so annoying. It had the qualities of the first books in the series and reminded me why I fell in love with this fun, fluffy story. This is the latest novella in this series I've read, and each on I rated 3-4 stars more 4's then 3. I'm not going to keep reviewing them, you can read the 1st 10 to see what I thought or you can download the first one for free on Amazon I really recommend you do that if you like witch stories or funny British humor. 196

Witch

A custard cream shared…
Just when Jill doesn’t think anything else could surprise her, something does. And not in a good way.
…is half a custard cream I don’t get to eat. Witch Is Why The Music Stopped (A Witch P.I. Mystery #19)
