DC Super Friends: Batman! By Billy Wrecks

I think five stars because the Super friends save the day. Billy Wrecks This book acts as a perfect introduction to Batman and a few of his main villains in a way that is easy for young kids or anyone reading the book to them, to understand.
There is no violence in this book making it appropriate for its target age group. I think this book will definitely help prepare new generations of potential Batman fans for the adventures they will probably read about him as they get older. Billy Wrecks This is a perfect 'starter' into Super Friends for children who are young. Told in a way that doesn't leave anything out but yet doesn't get 'scary' or overly descriptive that they wouldn't understand. Batman and Robin's abilities with their gadgets. Their enemies and what the enemies do. And then when in the story it gets to much the other Super Friends come in and help save the day as a team. Another excellent batman primer--friends and foes included. DC Super Friends: Batman!

Nice look at Batman and Robin and the DC super friends. DC Super Friends: Batman! I dread it when my son pulls this off the shelf. He likes it, but I think more from a superman is cool level than getting any actual enjoyment out of the content of the book. This, like all of the Golden Books titles, is just awfully written, lazy shovelware. English Batman protects Gotham City with the help of some Super Friends - Robin, Superman, Green Lantern, and the Flash. This book describes the Batman basics - the Batcave, Batmobile, Batboat, Batcopter, etc. Some of Batman's enemies make an appearance, including The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, plus Lex Luther. 030793103X Cuento ilustrado de la colección DC Super Friends dedicado a Batman y sus amigos. 9780307931030 I have always been a Batman fan since a young age so can't resist reading any books that feature him.

This Little Golden Book has Green Lantern, the Flash, Superman and Robin as the Super Friends and together they are the world's greatest heroes. However, it is the sole hero, Batman, who is known as the Dark Knight of Gotham City.

Unlike some of his friends, Batman doesn't have super powers, he doesn't need them for he uses his brains and crime fighting tools to catch the crooks. And he trains mighty hard to be extremely strong and fast; with his sidekick Robin, he has many different fighting styles.

Deep underground he has a high-tech lair called the Batcave in which he uses his Batcomputer in his lab to study clues and solve crimes. And he knows when crimes need solving because the Bat-Signal shines in the sky and it is then that the Caped Crusader races into action with his Batmobile.

He has the high-speed Batboat for use on water and the Batcopter which allows him to drop in on his foes. And Batman and Robin wear utility belts that are packed with such things as Batropes, Batarangs and Bat-Cuffs.

Batman's greatest enemy is The Joker, a criminal clown who loves playing pranks as much as committing crimes, and another of his foes is The Penguin who commits all his crimes with a collection of mechanised umbrellas. There is also The Riddler, who gives Batman complicated clues to the crimes he is about to commit but Batman is one jump ahead and always solves the puzzles in time to stop him, and Lex Luther and the icy Mr Freeze who variously attack Gotham City.

But Batman and his Super Friends know that teamwork always saves the day and helps to put the bad guys away ... holy Batbooks! Kapow!

Ethen Beavers has provided great illustrations to accompany this little Bat-collection! Billy Wrecks

Boys and girls 2-5 will feel like they are part of the action as Batman, Superman and the other Super Friends save the day!

This Little Golden Book is the perfect way to introduce young readers to Batman and the world's greatest super heroes. DC Super Friends: Batman!
