Blood & Tears (Vigilante Crime Series Book 4) By Kristi Belcamino
Blood & Tears (Vigilante Crime Series Book 4), my eighth read from author Kristi Belcamino. My first, Taste of Vengeance (Gia Santella #4.5) was set in the Sydney Rye universe. I'm a Sydney Rye fan & that got me to read the book, now I'm a Kristi Belcamino fan as well. The writing was so good that I'll read more of Belcamino's writings, someday I'll have to find the time to get all of Belcamino's books & read them in order. Well written & enjoyable, a captivating tale that takes unexpected twists & turns, always keeping the reader engaged and guessing until the bookâs end. âI received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I'll definitely be reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018). This is the 4th book in the series where the main character, Rose is again searching for the evil killer who kidnaps and brainwashes innocent girls. Will she meet up with him, the Sultan? I am not going to share that but be sure that the book is action packed and you see the growth of Rose. There are subtle mentions to other characters by the author, and I do enjoy the familiar references. Always sad to finish a Kristi Belcamino book, but anxious to read the next one knowing its not too long a wait.
Oh Rose, you have such a good heart. She fights for those that canât and sheâs willing to die for the cause. Still on the hunt for the Sultan she manages to pretend to be a young girl lured onto his yacht. While she is on her mission she has flashbacks of her childhood, she is more determined than ever to find her relatives. Rose finally gets the answers to so many questions, but now she has new ones. Always a fun read with plenty of action and determination I enjoy receiving early copies and providing a review voluntarily. Blood & Tears (Vigilante Crime Series Book 4) Another excellent Vigilante Crime thriller
Rose, the youngest vigilante in the Santella world, has hung around Florida waiting for Damon. As the story progresses tough choices are made, a dark feeling starts to surface, and as memories float to the top the truth could send her to the bottom. Kristi Belcamino keeps the reader engaged and cheering for the underdog with a serious bite in all of her books and Blood & Tears is no different. The twists that Rose is forced to deal with in this book may just be the final nail in her proverbial coffin, but the harsh light shone at her life could also burn away the last layer of naïveté and set her on her true lifeâs path. This is another excellent Vigilante Crime thriller from Kristi Belcamino.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not. 3.5 stars
After a long journey, Rose finally confronts The Sultan in this book. While I liked the journey, the actual meeting was over too quickly - and a little too easily for me. And I did predict the identity of The Sultan.
I am also not a fan of stories that have pages of repeated text/history taken from past books, which I have noticed is now becoming common in stories written by this author. This is book 4 in the series, so you'd have to assume everyone is up to date on Rose's history by now, and can understand what motivates her. I just end up skimming it.
A decent read, but not a favourite of mine. Blood & Tears (Vigilante Crime Series Book 4)

So many thrills and chills are part of Rose's do-or-die vendetta against the Sultan's heinous crimes, that you won't be able to put the amazing Kristi Belcamino's riveting, psychological revenge-thriller, Blood and Tears down for a minute...get it today! Kindle Edition Twists and turns keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat in this most recent installment of the Vigilante Crime Series. Although best read in order, this well-written, descriptive, and well-developed story allows you to jump in here if this is your introduction to this series, you will really want the backstory...so I encourage you to read in order. Rose, as do her mentors, fights for what's right for those that cannot! This time human trafficking is at the forefront of the story. Plenty of action and suspense will keep you turning the pages, as it's hard to find a place to put this book down. I never put a spoiler in any of my reviews, nor do I repeat the blurb or give away the plot, only what you need to know. A fabulous book that any thriller buff will certainly enjoy. Don't miss this one. Wow! This one picks up, in Florida, after Rose has dropped Damon off at rehab and she has waited for his release. In the meantime, The Sultan has resurfaced and Rose has some solid leads that will getter closer to her goal of finding him and finally, hopefully, killing him. This book was full of non stop action and twists thatâ¦. Wow! A GREAT addition to the series and I canât wait to see what happens next! Rose is one bad*$$ gal like Eva and Gia! Excellent read! Crime, Thriller, Mystery Damian gets out of rehab and Rose leaves Florida to seek and kill the Sultan who she believes is in Mexico on the black bottom yacht. Of course on the way she finds trouble while renting a car, and meets with a woman known to find the persons luring young girls away from their homes with dreams of fame and fortune only to be sold as sex slaves. I will say that she does meet up with the Sultan and just when you think you've got it, well you don't. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a member of Ms. Belcamino's ARC team and give an honest review. I always enjoy all her characters especially Gia and Rose and look forward to the next one. Rose is a unique character. She is a focused trained vigilante committed to her mission to find and kill the Sultan who took away the love of her life. But, she is also a young damaged girl still reeling from all the tragedy she has seen in her life, including the murders of her mother, guardian and fiance; and most recently loss of her father to illness. This story is a turning point for Rose, filled with action, passion and surprises that further twist the knife of inner turmoil. Kristi Belcamino does an excellent job of bringing out all the facets of a complex character dealing with trauma and the delicate subject matter of human trafficking. Rose took some major steps in this book with coming to realizations about her past and how our perceptions change as we mature. I can't wait to see how Rose's choices are influenced by these new revelations as she continues her journey.
